Job Description
Join the dedicated team at JBS Australia as an Entry-Level Slaughterhouse Labourer in our Campbellfield facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a stable and physically engaging role with immediate start and top rates of pay. No prior experience in a slaughterhouse is required as comprehensive training will be provided. You will play a crucial role in our production line, contributing to the efficient and safe processing of meat products, ensuring the highest standards of quality and hygiene. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals who are eager to learn and committed to teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various manual tasks on the production line, including but not limited to, loading, unloading, sorting, and packing meat products.
- Operate basic machinery and equipment under supervision, adhering to all safety protocols and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist skilled butchers and process workers with specific tasks as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets and quality objectives.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning new skills and adapting to different tasks.
