Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Container Unloader, a vital manual labour role at our Murray Bridge facility. We’re looking for hardworking, reliable individuals eager to contribute to our fast-paced warehousing operations. This role is physically demanding but offers a fantastic opportunity to earn top Aussie pay while ensuring the smooth flow of goods. You will be responsible for manually unloading containers, sorting freight, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually unload various types of freight from shipping containers quickly and efficiently.
- Sort and stack goods onto pallets or into designated storage areas.
- Operate manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Inspect incoming goods for damage and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy items repeatedly (up to 25kg).
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations (preferred, but not essential).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehousing, logistics, or manual labour role.
- Forklift license (LF) is a bonus, but not required for this specific role.
- First Aid certificate.
