Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient WFH Logistics Admin to provide essential support to our transport industry operations. This 100% remote position is perfect for an organised individual with a keen eye for detail and a passion for logistics. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, data entry, and communication to ensure the smooth flow of our logistics processes from your home office. This role requires strong organisational skills, proficiency with office software, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and process transport documentation, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into our logistics management systems.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams regarding shipment statuses and issues.
- Assist in scheduling and tracking deliveries and pickups.
- Resolve minor logistics discrepancies and report complex issues to supervisors.
- Maintain organised digital records and files.
- Generate reports on logistics activities and performance as required.
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics department.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (2+ years).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in the transport, logistics, or supply chain industry.
- Familiarity with logistics software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- A diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
