Job Description
Are you an ambitious Civil Engineering student looking for a practical, hands-on experience during your vacation period? Lendlease is offering a dynamic Vacation Intern position in Albury, NSW, providing you with a unique opportunity to contribute to real-world civil engineering projects. You will be involved in various stages of project lifecycle, from planning to execution, making a tangible impact on our community’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist project engineers and managers with day-to-day tasks on site and in the office.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
- Support data collection, analysis, and presentation for project progress and reporting.
- Collaborate with various project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients.
- Learn and apply relevant industry software and tools for project management and design.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong academic record and a genuine interest in civil engineering and construction.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally.
- Eagerness to learn, proactive attitude, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety in all working practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience (even voluntary or short-term) in a construction or engineering environment.
- Basic understanding of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).

- Valid driver's license and own transportation.
