Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Paid Marketing Intern with a strong focus on content and social media to join our marketing team in Tullamarine. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced digital environment, contributing to real campaigns and learning directly from industry experts. You will support our paid marketing initiatives, helping to create engaging content and manage our presence across various social media platforms, driving brand awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the creation and curation of engaging content for paid social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Support the planning and execution of paid social media advertising strategies, including audience targeting and ad set-up.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitor activities, and platform updates to identify new opportunities.
  • Contribute to content calendars and ensure timely delivery of assets.
  • Learn to analyse campaign performance data and provide insights to optimise future campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing and design teams to ensure brand consistency.
  • Assist with A/B testing various ad creatives and copy to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Research keywords and topics for potential content ideas that align with paid marketing goals.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated passion for digital marketing, particularly paid social media and content creation.
  • Basic understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Basic knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
  • Experience with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • A personal portfolio or examples of social media content created (e.g., blog posts, social media campaigns).
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn new digital marketing techniques.
