Key Responsibilities
- Safely direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic around construction sites, roadworks, and events.
- Implement and maintain traffic control plans in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Set up, monitor, and pack down traffic control equipment, including signs, cones, and barriers.
- Communicate effectively with construction crews, the public, and team members.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies efficiently and professionally.
- Maintain a high level of vigilance and situational awareness at all times.
- Adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) guidelines and procedures.
Required Skills
- No prior experience required – full paid training provided!
- Valid Australian Driver's License and reliable transport.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
- Reliability and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights, to maximise earnings.
