Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and efficient RF Scanner Operator to join our fast-paced distribution centre team in Murray Bridge, South Australia. This critical role involves accurately scanning, tracking, and moving inventory using RF (Radio Frequency) scanning equipment to ensure efficient order fulfillment and stock management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-volume environment, possess a strong attention to detail, and be committed to maintaining workplace safety and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate RF scanning equipment to accurately identify, track, and move inventory.
- Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to strict deadlines and quality standards.
- Perform inventory counts and stock rotation as required, reporting any discrepancies.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including manual handling techniques.
- Operate other warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks) as needed and certified.
Required Skills
- Minimum 12 months of demonstrated experience operating RF scanning equipment in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control.
- Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team-player attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Murray Bridge facility.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and system navigation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) with demonstrated operating experience.
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- First Aid certification.
- A strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
