Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Returns Processor to join our dynamic team in Tullamarine. This role is perfect for individuals looking for stable, clean indoor work with a focus on accuracy and efficiency, rather than high-pressure situations. As a Returns Processor, you will be responsible for managing returned merchandise, ensuring proper documentation, inspection, and processing. This is a crucial role in our logistics chain, helping us maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process returned items accurately and efficiently.
- Verify product condition, quantity, and reason for return against documentation.
- Categorize and sort returned products for restock, repair, or disposal.
- Update inventory management systems with accurate return data.
- Prepare items for return to vendor or internal redistribution.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the returns department.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move packages up to 15kg occasionally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or returns processing role.
- Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle WMS).
- Forklift license (LF) or willingness to obtain one.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
