Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Raw Materials Handler in Mildura, Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or advance their career in logistics, with full training provided, including the potential to obtain your forklift license. As a Raw Materials Handler, you will be crucial to the efficient flow of goods, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and safely. This is an on-site, full-time position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and accurately store incoming raw materials according to established procedures.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts, stock rotation, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Prepare and stage raw materials for various departments or for onward dispatch.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse and storage areas.
  • Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Actively participate in and successfully complete all provided training, including the forklift operator certification program.
  • Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently once trained and certified.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated physical fitness and the ability to safely lift and move items as required.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Proven reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • A positive attitude and a keen willingness to learn new skills and embrace training opportunities.
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills for inventory and record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment is a plus but not essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and system navigation.
  • A current and valid Australian driver's license.
