Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Public Service Partner with a Corporate Focus to join our team in Gosford, NSW. In this critical role, you will act as a key liaison between our corporate operations and public stakeholders, ensuring our initiatives align with community needs and regulatory expectations. You will be instrumental in managing relationships, communicating corporate strategies, and gathering feedback to drive our commitment to public service and corporate responsibility. This role requires an individual with strong communication skills, a proactive approach, and a deep understanding of corporate governance and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for public inquiries and feedback related to corporate policies and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, government agencies, and corporate partners.
- Translate complex corporate initiatives and policies into clear, accessible language for public consumption.
- Facilitate public forums, workshops, and informational sessions to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on public sentiment, identifying potential issues and opportunities for corporate improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Legal, Marketing, CSR) to ensure consistent messaging and aligned public engagement strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs and initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with relevant public service standards and corporate governance frameworks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on public engagement activities and their impact.
Required Skills
- Minimum 3 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, community engagement, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated understanding of corporate governance and public service principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Political Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience working within the financial services industry or a large corporate environment.
- Familiarity with the Central Coast community and local government structures.
- Project management experience.
