Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Part-time Farm Hand to join our dedicated team on a day roster. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about agriculture, eager to work outdoors, and contribute to the daily operations of a thriving farm. You will assist with various tasks across our vineyards and olive groves, ensuring the health and productivity of our crops. This is a hands-on position requiring physical stamina and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general farm duties including pruning, weeding, harvesting, and pest control.
- Assist with irrigation systems setup, maintenance, and monitoring.
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and tools safely and effectively.
- Participate in the planting and care of new vines and olive trees.
- Help with the preparation and application of organic fertilizers and treatments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and farm protocols.
- Support other farm staff as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of agricultural practices or strong willingness to learn.
