Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the collection, cleaning, and transformation of large datasets from various sources.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract relevant data for analysis.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for data manipulation, automation, and reporting tasks.
- Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present findings to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and business units to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
- Participate in data quality initiatives, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Continuously learn and apply new data analysis techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Support data-driven decision-making processes across the organization.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python, including libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik Sense.
- Understanding of statistical concepts and their application in data analysis.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and data warehousing concepts.
- Prior internship or project experience in data analysis.
