Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Bar Utility Hands to join our energetic team for casual evening shifts. This role is perfect for individuals who are keen to contribute to a bustling bar environment, ensuring smooth operations and a clean, organised workspace. You’ll be instrumental in supporting our bar staff, allowing them to focus on guest service while you keep everything running efficiently behind the scenes. Penalty rates apply for evening and weekend work.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders with stocking and replenishing bar supplies, including glassware, ice, and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, sweeping, and mopping.
- Wash and polish glassware, ensuring a continuous supply of clean items.
- Empty bins and manage waste disposal throughout shifts.
- Assist with setting up and packing down the bar area before and after service.
- Support the bar team with general tasks as required to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Handle deliveries and store supplies appropriately.
