Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Pallet Stacker to join our dynamic warehouse team in Campbelltown. This role is critical to maintaining the efficient flow of goods within our distribution centre. You will be responsible for the accurate and safe stacking of products onto pallets, ensuring they are prepared for storage or dispatch. This is a demanding physical role requiring consistent effort and attention to detail, offering a top hourly rate for dedicated individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and accurately stack various products onto pallets according to specific guidelines and safety standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment safely to move stacked pallets.
- Ensure pallets are stable, secure, and correctly labelled for storage or shipment.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including cleaning, organising, and inventory support as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including manual handling techniques.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and maintain workflow.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stacking and organising goods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and completing simple documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating manual pallet jacks.
- Current forklift licence (though not essential for this specific stacking role, it is an advantage for future opportunities).
