Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Night Shift Bar Hand to join our dynamic team on a casual roster. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced evening environment, enjoys customer interaction, and is committed to delivering outstanding service. You will be instrumental in ensuring our bar operates smoothly during peak night hours, providing a memorable experience for all our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and efficiently.
- Process cash and card payments accurately, managing the till and balancing receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including glassware, counters, and equipment.
- Restock bar supplies, including spirits, beers, and other consumables.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible service of alcohol and maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures for the bar.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering questions and providing recommendations.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Required Skills
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- Reliable and punctual with a flexible attitude towards night shift work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bar hand or in a similar hospitality role.
- Basic knowledge of cocktails and drink preparation.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
