Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and organised NDIS Admin Support professional to join our team in Orange, NSW. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of NDIS services by providing comprehensive administrative support. You will be the first point of contact for many clients and stakeholders, managing inquiries, coordinating schedules, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with NDIS guidelines. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to NDIS Case Managers and team leaders, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organising meetings.
- Act as the primary point of contact for NDIS participants, families, and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and directing them appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, databases, and NDIS plans, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of NDIS funding requests, reports, and other required documentation.
- Process invoices, reconcile financial statements, and manage petty cash in accordance with organisational policies.
- Support the onboarding of new NDIS participants, including assisting with service agreements and initial assessments.
- Ensure all administrative tasks comply with NDIS guidelines, organisational policies, and relevant legislation.
- Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and resources for the Orange branch.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and a collaborative work environment.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably within the disability or community services sector.
- Demonstrated understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) framework and policies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with client management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-centric approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid Australian Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Community Services, or a related field.
- Experience with NDIS-specific software or client management systems.
- Knowledge of local community resources and support networks in the Orange region.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
