Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Milk Run Offsider to join our team for early morning, ongoing work based out of our Warrnambool depot. This crucial role involves assisting our experienced drivers with the safe and efficient collection of raw milk from farms across the region. You will play a key part in our supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist drivers with the collection of raw milk from various farms, adhering to strict schedules.
  • Operate milk sampling equipment and conduct initial quality checks.
  • Ensure all milk collection procedures comply with company protocols and industry standards.
  • Assist with coupling and uncoupling trailers, and performing routine vehicle checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
  • Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and logs.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, farm staff, and depot personnel.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and climbing.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Valid Australian driver's license (desirable, but not essential).
  • Right to work in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar offsider, transport, or farm-hand role.
  • Knowledge of basic milk quality testing procedures.
  • Familiarity with regional roads and farm locations in the Warrnambool area.
