Job Description

This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of international freight, customs, and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination of international freight movements (air and sea).
- Support customs clearance processes and documentation.
- Learn to prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, and commercial invoices.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (carriers, customs brokers).
- Conduct research on international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
- Contribute to data entry and maintenance of logistics management systems.
- Participate in team meetings and project discussions.
- Provide general administrative support to the international trade department.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in international trade and global logistics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Must have valid working rights in Australia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of customs procedures or international shipping terms (Incoterms).
- Experience with logistics software or ERP systems.
- Prior experience in a professional office environment.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
