Job Description

This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of international freight, customs, and supply chain management. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of international freight movements (air and sea).
  • Support customs clearance processes and documentation.
  • Learn to prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, airway bills, and commercial invoices.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (carriers, customs brokers).
  • Conduct research on international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to data entry and maintenance of logistics management systems.
  • Participate in team meetings and project discussions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the international trade department.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree program in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in international trade and global logistics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
  • Must have valid working rights in Australia.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of customs procedures or international shipping terms (Incoterms).
  • Experience with logistics software or ERP systems.
  • Prior experience in a professional office environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
