Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Jetty Maintenance Helper to join our coastal construction team in Pinkenba, QLD. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in marine construction and maintenance. You will assist skilled tradespeople in various tasks related to the inspection, repair, and upkeep of jetties, wharves, and other coastal structures. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled tradespeople and engineers with the maintenance, repair, and construction of marine structures, including jetties, wharves, and pontoons.
  • Prepare work sites by setting up equipment, tools, and materials as instructed.
  • Perform general labour tasks such as cleaning, clearing debris, mixing materials, and carrying equipment.
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and site-specific procedures.
  • Assist with the inspection of structures for damage or wear.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive work culture.
