Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Warehouse Sweeper to join our team in Berri, South Australia. This is an entry-level position in an industrial environment, perfect for individuals looking for stable employment with an immediate start. Your primary role will be to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our warehouse facilities, ensuring a tidy and hazard-free workspace for all staff. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of warehouse floors and aisles.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize common areas, including break rooms and restrooms, as needed.
- Operate small industrial cleaning equipment, such as floor sweepers or scrubbers, after receiving proper training.
- Monitor and report any maintenance needs or safety hazards identified during cleaning.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as necessary.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
