Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Security Architect to join our Enterprise IT team in Alice Springs. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the security architecture for our mobile applications and platforms. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the robustness, integrity, and confidentiality of our mobile services, protecting both our customers and our enterprise assets. This is an exciting opportunity to lead security initiatives in a fast-paced and high-impact environment, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build secure mobile experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure mobile application architectures across various platforms (iOS, Android).
- Develop and enforce mobile security policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Conduct security reviews and threat modeling for new and existing mobile applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools for mobile environments.
- Provide expert guidance on mobile security to various stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest mobile security threats, vulnerabilities, and solutions.
- Participate in incident response activities related to mobile security incidents.
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on mobile applications.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Mobile Security Architect or similar role.
- Deep understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and their security models.
- Expertise in mobile application security testing (SAST, DAST, penetration testing).
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and secure communication protocols.
- Familiarity with OWASP Mobile Top 10 vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) solutions.
- Proficiency in at least one mobile development language (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CSSLP).
- Experience with cloud security architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) as they relate to mobile backends.
- Knowledge of secure coding principles and practices.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
