Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and for medical appointments.
  • Assist with the lifting and positioning of patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Move equipment, supplies, and specimens throughout the hospital.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy environment in patient areas and corridors.
  • Respond promptly to requests from medical and nursing staff.
  • Provide support and comfort to patients, maintaining a respectful and empathetic approach.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control guidelines.
