Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and calm Gatekeeper to manage access and egress at one of our bustling construction sites in Parramatta. This role is crucial for maintaining site security and ensuring the smooth flow of personnel and vehicles. If you are attentive, organized, and looking for a steady, no-stress role in a dynamic environment, this opportunity is for you. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Control and monitor all access points for personnel and vehicles entering and exiting the construction site.
- Verify credentials, deliveries, and visitor details according to site security protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs of all visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
- Direct visitors and deliveries to the appropriate areas on site.
- Communicate effectively with site management, workers, and delivery drivers.
- Ensure adherence to site safety rules and regulations at the entry point.
- Respond to and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks related to site entry when required.
- Operate and maintain gate equipment and basic security systems.

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for logging and record-keeping.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a gatekeeping, security, or similar access control role.
- Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) for working on Australian construction sites.
- Basic knowledge of construction site operations and safety procedures.
