Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and physically fit Formwork Labourers to join our dynamic construction teams on various projects across the Moreton Bay region, based out of North Lakes. This is a demanding but rewarding role for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced outdoor environment. You will be instrumental in assisting our skilled carpenters and formwork specialists, ensuring high-quality concrete structures are built safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with the setup and dismantling of formwork systems.
- Carrying and moving construction materials, including timber, steel, and concrete.
- Operating hand and power tools under supervision.
- Maintaining a clean and organised worksite.
- Adhering strictly to all site safety regulations and procedures.
- Supporting carpenters and other tradespeople as required.
- Manual excavation and backfilling.
- General site clean-up and labouring tasks.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated physical fitness and ability to perform strenuous tasks for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of construction site environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Australian White Card (Construction Induction).
- Previous experience in a construction labouring or formwork role.
- First Aid certificate.
- Basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, utility knife).
- Current driver's license and reliable transport.
