Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Film Set Labourers to join our production team for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the vibrant world of film and television production. You will be an integral part of our crew, assisting with various physical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our film sets. No prior film set experience is required, just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions diligently. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of production equipment, props, and materials.
- Help set up and dismantle various elements on set, including scaffolding, lighting rigs, and scenic pieces.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on set and in storage areas.
- Support the art department, grip department, and other crew members as needed.
- Perform general manual labour tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Adhere strictly to all on-set safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist with waste management and recycling on set.
- Be punctual and reliable for all scheduled shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in general labour or construction roles.
- First Aid certification.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
