Job Description
Join Southern Hills AgriGroup as a Farm Irrigation Assistant and embark on a rewarding career in agriculture. You will receive hands-on training directly on our farms in Victor Harbor, working alongside experienced professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, pivot).
- Monitor irrigation schedules and water distribution to ensure optimal crop hydration.
- Conduct routine checks of pumps, pipes, and valves for leaks or malfunctions.
- Help prepare and maintain irrigation equipment and tools.
- Record irrigation data, including water usage and system performance.
- Report any issues or necessary repairs to the Irrigation Supervisor.
- Participate in general farm duties as required, supporting overall operations.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in learning about machinery.

- Valid Australian driver's license.
