Job Description
Accenture is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Migration Consultant to join our dynamic team on the Gold Coast. This role focuses on leading complex data migration projects for enterprise-level clients, ensuring seamless and efficient transfer of critical data assets. You will be instrumental in designing migration strategies, executing data transformations, and validating data integrity, all while working with cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data migration projects from inception to completion for large enterprise clients.
- Develop comprehensive data migration strategies, plans, and architectural designs.
- Perform data analysis, profiling, cleansing, transformation, and loading activities.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
- Design and implement ETL processes using various tools and technologies.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and quality throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, proactively resolving issues.
- Prepare and present project status, challenges, and solutions to senior management and clients.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data migration, ETL development, or data warehousing.
- Proficiency with various data migration tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS DMS, Azure Data Factory).
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex enterprise-level projects.
- Excellent understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Proven track record of successful client engagement and stakeholder management.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile) or relevant data technologies.
- Familiarity with various ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and CRM platforms.
- Consulting experience within a large professional services firm.
