Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Site Cleaner to join our dynamic construction team in Geelong. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to kickstart their career in the construction industry, even without prior experience. We are committed to supporting new talent, and as such, we offer assistance in obtaining your mandatory White Card (General Construction Induction Card) – a crucial requirement for working on Australian construction sites. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order across our busy construction sites, ensuring a safe and presentable environment for all workers and visitors. Your contribution is vital to site safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties on active construction sites, including clearing debris, dust, and waste materials.
- Clean and maintain site offices, lunchrooms, amenities (toilets, showers), and welfare facilities.
- Ensure all work areas are tidy and free from hazards, adhering strictly to site safety protocols.
- Assist with waste segregation and disposal in designated bins and skips.
- Operate basic cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or equipment malfunctions to the site supervisor.
- Support site management with other ad-hoc tasks as required to maintain site cleanliness and operational flow.
- Adhere to all Lendlease safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
