IMO Car Wash is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Car Wash Attendants to join our dynamic team in Newcastle upon Tyne on a daily hire basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is necessary – we provide full training!
As a Casual Car Wash Attendant, you will be crucial to ensuring our customers receive a sparkling clean vehicle and excellent service every time. You will work closely with our team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency, contributing to our reputation as the world’s largest and most trusted car wash network.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and thoroughly wash, clean, and dry vehicles to IMO Car Wash standards.
- Safely operate and maintain car wash equipment, including brushes, hoses, and vacuums.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, answering questions and assisting with payment processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including tidying up equipment and disposing of waste.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Assist customers with any additional services or product inquiries.
Required Skills
- Ability to work comfortably and effectively outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a reliable approach to daily commitments.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout a shift.
- Keen attention to detail to ensure every vehicle meets our quality standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- A positive, customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service, automotive, or similar outdoor role is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic understanding of car wash operations or a willingness to learn quickly.
