Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and hardworking Irrigation Labourer to join our farm systems team. This ongoing position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn the intricacies of modern irrigation systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair, within a dynamic agricultural environment. You will be an integral part of ensuring optimal water management for our farming operations, contributing directly to crop health and productivity. No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of various irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler, pivot)
- Perform routine checks on irrigation equipment and pipelines, identifying and reporting issues
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Prepare trenches and lay irrigation pipes according to specifications
- Assist in the setup and takedown of seasonal irrigation equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, often outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability

Preferred Qualifications
