Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit Brickie’s Offsider to join our dynamic construction team in Dalby, Queensland. This is a demanding role requiring strong physical stamina, reliability, and a keen willingness to learn. You will be an essential part of our bricklaying crew, ensuring they have the materials and support needed to maintain high productivity and quality standards on site. Key Responsibilities

  • Load and unload bricks, mortar, and other building materials.
  • Mix mortar to the correct consistency and supply it to bricklayers.
  • Keep work areas clean and organised, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Assist bricklayers with setting up and packing down equipment.
  • Perform general labouring duties as required on the construction site.
  • Adhere strictly to all site safety regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative attitude within the team.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional physical fitness and stamina.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic understanding of construction site safety.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Construction White Card (essential upon commencement).
  • Previous experience in a labouring or construction role.
  • Valid Australian Driver’s License and reliable transport.
  • Forklift license (highly regarded but not essential).
