Job Description
Are you looking for an opportunity to kickstart your culinary career? Domino’s Pizza in Innisfail is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Pizza Cook to join our dynamic night shift team. No prior experience is necessary – we believe in talent development and will provide comprehensive training to help you master the art of pizza making. This is a fantastic chance to learn valuable kitchen skills, work in a lively environment, and grow with a world-renowned brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and sauces according to Domino's quality standards
- Assemble and cook pizzas, ensuring perfect execution and timely delivery
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking and rotating ingredients
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Support the team during busy night shifts, ensuring smooth operations
- Contribute to a positive team environment and uphold Domino's customer service values
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability, especially for night shifts
- Eagerness to learn and take direction
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15kg
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of food safety principles (training provided if needed)
- Prior experience in a kitchen or customer service role is a plus, but not required
- A passion for food and creating delicious meals
