Job Description

Join the Woolworths team in Wagga Wagga as a Stock Replenishment Crew member for evening shifts. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals of all ages looking for part-time work in a supportive and fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. You will be responsible for ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, tidy, and presentable for our customers, contributing directly to their positive shopping experience and the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload deliveries efficiently and safely, adhering to all store procedures.
  • Replenish shelves with new stock, ensuring correct product placement, rotation, and display standards.
  • Maintain a tidy and organised backroom and sales floor throughout your shift, including waste management.
  • Assist with stock rotation to minimise waste and ensure product freshness and availability.
  • Ensure aisles are clear and safe for customers and staff, promptly addressing any hazards.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding stock levels, issues, or customer needs.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work evening shifts consistently.
  • Physical fitness to lift, carry, and move stock weighing up to 15-20kg repeatedly.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail for accurate stock placement and store presentation.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a retail, warehouse, or similar fast-paced environment (not essential, but a bonus).
  • An understanding of basic stock control procedures and merchandising principles.
