Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Bottling Plant Labourer to join our dynamic team in Port Pirie. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of world-renowned beverage brands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the bottling and packaging process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to safety standards. Regular shifts are available, offering stability and the chance to become an integral part of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor bottling and packaging machinery under supervision.
  • Load and unload raw materials and finished products.
  • Perform quality checks on bottles, labels, and packaging.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
  • Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including PPE usage.
  • Report any machinery malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
  • Flexibility to work regular shifts, including some weekends or public holidays if required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, especially in food/beverage.
  • Forklift license (LF class).
  • Knowledge of HACCP or other food safety standards.
