Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Fit-out Sparky to join our dynamic team in Mandurah, Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and reliable electrician to work on a variety of major commercial fit-out projects, ensuring high-quality electrical installations and adherence to all relevant standards. You will be responsible for all aspects of electrical work, from rough-in to final fit-off, contributing to the successful completion of significant commercial developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all aspects of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in commercial fit-out environments.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical systems, wiring, lighting, power points, and distribution boards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS 3000) and company safety policies.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including test reports and daily logs.
- Supervise junior electricians or apprentices when required.
Required Skills
- Hold a valid A-Grade Electrician's Licence (WA).
- Proven experience in commercial electrical fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS 3000).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Current WA Driver's Licence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant Cert III in Electrotechnology Electrician.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience with large-scale commercial or industrial projects.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
