Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Janitorial Support staff to join our team, working on a part-time day roster across various schools in the Goulburn area. This essential role ensures a clean, hygienic, and safe learning environment for students and staff. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and supporting the overall presentation of school facilities during operational hours. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, possess a keen eye for detail, and be committed to delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors, and cleaning carpets.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and replenishing supplies.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish in designated areas.
- Clean and dust surfaces, including desks, windowsills, and common areas.
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and shared equipment.
- Ensure common areas, classrooms, offices, and hallways are tidy and presentable.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of OH&S procedures related to cleaning operations
- First Aid certification
