Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Plasterer’s Assistant to join our dynamic team in Fremantle. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for stable, ongoing work with the benefit of weekly pay. No prior plastering experience is required, as we are prepared to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and physical fitness. You will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced plasterers on various residential and commercial projects, contributing to high-quality finishes and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist plasterers with mixing plaster, rendering, and other materials.
  • Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding, protecting surfaces, and cleaning up debris.
  • Cut and fit plasterboard sheets to size.
  • Load and unload materials and equipment.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
  • Help with site cleanup and waste removal.
  • Perform general labouring duties as required to support the plastering team.

  • Valid Australian Construction Induction Card (White Card).
