Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Window Frame Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Kalgoorlie. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for assembling various components into high-quality window frames, ensuring they meet Stegbar’s rigorous standards for precision, durability, and aesthetics. This is a regular, full-time position within a dynamic factory environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine assembly requirements.
  • Measure and cut materials to precise specifications using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Assemble window frame components (e.g., sashes, frames, glass units, hardware) according to design specifications.
  • Inspect finished frames for defects, ensuring alignment, fit, and overall quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration on tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies within the factory setting.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production flow and meet deadlines.

  • Proven ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical stamina for repetitive tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, particularly in window or door assembly.
  • Experience with carpentry, fabrication, or related trades.
  • Forklift license (preferred but not essential).
