Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Artist Liaison to join our Festivals & Events team in Footscray. In this crucial role, you will be the primary point of contact for artists and their management, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience from pre-event planning through to on-site execution. You will manage all logistical aspects, including travel, accommodation, technical riders, and hospitality, for a diverse range of local and international talent performing at our renowned festivals and events. This position requires strong communication skills, an ability to thrive under pressure, and a genuine passion for the live entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for artists, their management, and crew before, during, and after events.
• Coordinate and manage all artist logistics, including travel arrangements, accommodation, ground transportation, and credentialing.
• Interpret and fulfill artist technical and hospitality riders, ensuring all requirements are met in collaboration with production and catering teams.
• Prepare detailed artist schedules, welcome packs, and information sheets.
• Manage artist budgets, track expenses, and process invoices in a timely manner.
• Act as an on-site representative, providing immediate support and problem-solving for artists and their teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with artists, agents, managers, and internal departments.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and security protocols.
• Provide post-event reports and feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

• Minimum 2 years of experience in artist relations, event coordination, or tour management within the music or live events industry.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with diverse personalities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required for events.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Music Business, or a related field.
• Experience with event management software (e.g., Artifax, Eventbrite backend).
• Familiarity with the Australian festival landscape and key industry contacts.
• Fluency in additional languages.
