Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Wholesale Warehouse Hand to join our team in Gosford on a part-time day roster. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement and storage of goods. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time work within a supportive and dynamic logistics environment. You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders according to specified requirements, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks (if licensed and experienced) safely.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with loading outgoing shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Report any discrepancies or damage to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely (up to 25kg).
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Current forklift license (LF or LO class).
- Experience with inventory management software.
