Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote HR & Recruitment professional to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about human resources and talent acquisition to contribute to a global leader in recruitment, working from the comfort of your home office. You will play a crucial role in managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and HR administration, all while supporting our remote workforce across Australia. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian employment law and best practices, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management for various roles.
- Develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures in line with Australian employment legislation.
- Provide HR advice and support to employees and managers on a range of topics, including performance management, employee relations, and policy interpretation.
- Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for all employees.
- Maintain accurate HR records and administer HR systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Assist in the development and delivery of training programs for employees and management.
- Contribute to HR projects focused on enhancing employee engagement, culture, and operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in employment law to ensure continuous compliance and best practice.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a human resources generalist or recruitment focused role.
- Solid understanding of Australian employment law, industrial relations, and HR best practices.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in HRIS and recruitment software.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote work environment.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., AHRI or equivalent).
- Experience working within a recruitment agency or a large, fast-paced organization.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
