Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive WFH Administrative Officer to join our dynamic team on a casual loading basis, working Monday to Friday. This is a 100% remote position, offering the flexibility to work from your home office while supporting critical business operations. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day tasks. This role is perfect for an individual with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a virtual environment. While this role offers casual loading, it is expected to require full-time hours (approximately 38 hours per week) from Monday to Friday, providing consistent work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organise virtual calendars, scheduling meetings, and appointments.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including emails and reports.
- Maintain organised digital filing systems and databases.
- Assist with data entry, document formatting, and presentation preparation.
- Handle general inquiries and provide exceptional support to team members.
- Coordinate virtual team events and meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
- Process invoices, expenses, and other financial documentation as required.
- Undertake ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects to support business needs.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (minimum 12 months).
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office setup.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Zoom).
- Previous experience working in a remote or WFH capacity.
- Familiarity with financial services industry terminology and practices.
- A relevant Certificate III or IV in Business Administration.
