Job Description
Join the Woolworths team as a Part-time Warehouse Assistant in Ballina! We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable individual to support our morning operations, Monday to Friday. In this vital role, you will contribute to the efficient movement and storage of goods, ensuring our stores are well-stocked and our customers receive the freshest products. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and store incoming goods accurately and efficiently.
- Pick and pack orders according to established procedures and quality standards.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations or willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Current forklift license (desirable but not essential).
- Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
