Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Virtual Meditation Guide to join our dedicated team. This unique role combines your expertise in mindfulness and meditation with essential wellness app support, ensuring our users have a seamless and enriching experience. You will provide guidance, answer user inquiries related to meditation practices and app functionality, and foster a supportive community environment. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while making a significant impact on our users’ well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert guidance on meditation techniques and mindfulness practices through virtual channels.
- Respond to user inquiries regarding app features, content, and subscription services with empathy and accuracy.
- Offer personalized support and encouragement to users on their mindfulness journey.
- Help troubleshoot basic technical issues related to the Headspace app.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of support resources and meditation content.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Headspace's offerings and updates.
- Collaborate with content and product teams to relay user feedback and insights.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development in mindfulness and customer support.
Required Skills
- Certified Meditation or Mindfulness Teacher/Instructor qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in teaching or guiding meditation (virtual or in-person).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong empathetic listening and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools (e.g., video conferencing, chat platforms).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- A deep personal practice and commitment to mindfulness and meditation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a customer service or technical support role, particularly for a digital product.
- Familiarity with wellness applications or digital health platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field.
- Experience in community management or online forum moderation.
