Job Description

Join Lendlease as an Entry Level Site Marshall and begin your career in construction safety. This vital role is perfect for individuals eager to learn and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment on our project sites in Toowoomba. You will assist the safety team by monitoring site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and supporting emergency procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop foundational knowledge in site safety and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor site entry and exit points, ensuring only authorised personnel and vehicles access the site.
  • Conduct regular site walks to observe work practices and identify potential hazards.
  • Assist in the enforcement of site safety rules and regulations.
  • Report all observed safety breaches or incidents to the Site Safety Officer.
  • Support the management of site traffic and pedestrian movements.
  • Distribute and ensure proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with site inductions for new workers and visitors.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records related to site access and safety observations.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative support to the site safety team as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role (even non-industry related) demonstrating responsibility and observation.
  • Current White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Valid Australian Driver's License.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Basic knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) principles.
