Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Civil Engineering students to join our team as Vacation Interns in Coffs Harbour. This is an excellent opportunity for students currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of civil construction projects. You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, contributing to real-world projects and developing practical skills in a dynamic environment. This internship is designed to provide valuable insights into the civil engineering industry and build a foundation for a successful career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project engineers with site supervision, quality control, and progress monitoring.
  • Support the preparation of project documentation, reports, and technical drawings.
  • Participate in site inductions, safety briefings, and risk assessments.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis for project planning and execution.
  • Learn about project scheduling, cost control, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with project teams on various tasks, including design review and problem-solving.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and environmentally compliant work site.

Required Skills

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance.
  • Basic understanding of civil engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
