Job Description

Duratec Australia is urgently seeking enthusiastic and physically fit individuals to join our demolition team as an Entry-Level Demolition Hand in Fremantle, Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with no prior experience to kickstart a career in the construction and demolition industry. We provide comprehensive on-the-job training, ensuring you gain valuable skills and knowledge while contributing to essential projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting experienced demolition operators and tradespeople.
  • Safe manual demolition work, including breaking concrete, dismantling structures, and clearing debris.
  • Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision.
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment on site.
  • Adhering strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Participating in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
  • Manual labour as required to support demolition activities.

Required Skills

  • Strong physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively in a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all site regulations.
  • Basic understanding of construction site environments (can be learned on the job).
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Australian White Card (Construction Induction Card).
  • Current Driver's License and reliable transport.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Previous experience in a physically demanding role (e.g., warehousing, landscaping).
