Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Underwriter Assistant to join our Corporate Insurance team in Glenorchy. This entry-level to early-career position offers an excellent opportunity to learn the intricacies of corporate insurance underwriting, support our experienced underwriters, and grow your career within a global financial services leader. You will play a crucial role in the accurate and efficient processing of insurance policies and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist underwriters with policy processing, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Gather and organize necessary client data and documentation.
  • Prepare quotes and proposals under guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records in the underwriting system.
  • Communicate effectively with brokers, agents, and internal teams.
  • Conduct basic risk assessments and data analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
