Job Description

We are seeking reliable and energetic individuals to join our team as Trolley Collection Crew members for our local shopping centres in Tweed Heads. This is a crucial part-time role that ensures our customers have convenient access to trolleys and that the centre environment remains tidy and safe. You will be responsible for collecting and returning trolleys from various points within and around the shopping centre, working outdoors in all weather conditions, and maintaining organised trolley bays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect shopping trolleys from car parks, common areas, and designated zones.
  • Return trolleys safely and efficiently to appropriate bays throughout the centre.
  • Ensure trolley bays are adequately stocked and well-organised for customer use.
  • Perform regular checks to identify and report any damaged trolleys or unsafe conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy appearance in and around trolley collection areas.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Assist with general outdoor clean-up tasks as required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to walk, stand, and push trolleys for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and highly self-motivated.
  • Strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrated awareness and commitment to health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar outdoor, physically demanding, or customer-facing role.
  • Current Australian driver's license.
  • Basic knowledge of local Tweed Heads area.
