Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Work From Home Travel & Tourism Support Agent, providing essential support to our customers and travel consultants. This role is perfect for individuals with a passion for travel, excellent communication skills, and a desire to deliver outstanding customer service from the comfort of their home. You will be the first point of contact for inquiries, assisting with booking modifications, providing information on travel products, and resolving customer issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat regarding travel bookings, itineraries, and general travel information.
  • Assist customers and travel consultants with modifications, cancellations, and rebooking requests.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on travel policies, destinations, and products.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions accurately in our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and navigating multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet home office environment.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a customer service or call centre role.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel or tourism industry.
  • Familiarity with GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
  • Experience working in a remote capacity.
  • Knowledge of common travel destinations and booking processes.
